We are looking for an Academic Support Specialist to assist with designated online courses, enhancing communication and providing essential support to both students and faculty.
1. Address student inquiries during designated office hours, live sessions with instructors, or through various communication channels.
2. Facilitate and engage in discussion forums to foster student participation and interaction.
3. Act as a liaison between faculty and students by relaying any issues, concerns, or requests for clarification regarding course content.
Support for Faculty:1. Aid faculty by reviewing and organizing the structure of written assignments (e.g., APA formatting).
2. Maintain regular communication with course instructors.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's Degree in Education or a related area.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Strong interpersonal abilities, capable of working with diverse groups.
3. High proficiency with technology and online learning environments.
