As the Revenue Cycle Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of the revenue cycle. This includes supervising accounts receivable staff, handling client billing, coordinating with third-party insurers, and managing collections. Your leadership will ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the team responsible for client billing, prior authorizations, and collections.
- Conduct hiring, training, and performance evaluations for staff.
- Oversee all financial transactions within the Accounts Receivable Department.
- Develop and implement systems to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Provide consultation on accounts receivable matters to other departments.
- Participate in management meetings to address operational challenges and improvements.
- Ensure consistency in billing procedures across all centers.
- Set performance standards for receivables staff and evaluate their performance.
- Maintain accurate patient financial records in compliance with policies.
- Manage the processing of monthly statements and third-party claims.
- Ensure compliance with all financial and administrative policies.
- Communicate with external agencies regarding receivable issues.
- Oversee inventory and procurement for the department.
- Stay updated on changes in third-party billing procedures and implement necessary adjustments.
- Maintain knowledge of all relevant policies and procedures.
- Some travel may be required.
- Conduct committee meetings and create training materials.
- Ensure compliance with FQHC financial and billing policies.
- Review and update the Sliding Fee Scale in accordance with federal guidelines.
- Participate in the review of payer contracts and establish a contractual allowance model.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing an accounts receivables department is essential.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and meet transportation requirements.
