Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our products to meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Design and Development: Develop and maintain standard engineering, fabrication, assembly, and installation drawings for tanks, PLCs, controls, pumps, blowers, and other components.
  • Component Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate pumps, blowers, sensors, and other components based on performance requirements, cost, life-cycle cost, and reliability.
  • Operational and Maintenance Documentation: Develop comprehensive O&M manuals for both operational processes and mechanical components.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and technical support to assembly and fabrication companies, installers, and field technicians on product fabrication, assembly, installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Quality Control and Continuous Improvement: Oversee quality control processes to ensure that all products meet required standards and specifications.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to develop new product features and enhancements.
  • Project Management: Manage product engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  • Business Development: Support Business Development group by developing standard and special project cost models.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all products comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Engineering experience working with a physical product (not IT) within manufacturing
  • AUTOCAD or Solidworks experience
