Advanced Practice Nurse

Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, education, and support to individuals and families in our community.
Responsibilities:
• Obtain patient history and perform physical exams as indicated by visit type
• Perform, order, and interpret screening and diagnostic testing, addressing abnormal findings
• Develop treatment plans, including medical or other referrals, and prescribe medications as needed
• Provide patient education on care plans, preventive education, and health promotion and maintenance
• Obtain informed consent when necessary
• Assess interventions and referral progress as needed
• Collaborate with Health Center Manager to meet clinic goals, productivity benchmarks, and assigned tasks
Requirements:
• Current active, unencumbered state license as a Registered Nurse and APN in the state of hire
• National board-certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse
• DEA license or ability to obtain at hire, and enrollment in Controlled Substance Monitoring Program as applicable
• Advanced degree, minimally master's degree
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification for healthcare providers
