We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Imaging Specialist to join our team at UCHealth. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care and delivering high-quality imaging services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and perform various imaging procedures, including radiography and fluoroscopy.
- Review patient history, initiate imaging procedures, and prioritize patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation.
- Safely administer contrast media and monitor patient condition during imaging procedures.
- Implement techniques to yield clarity in images, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established best practices in radiology.
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technologist program.
- Registered as a radiologic technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and hold specialty ARRT certification(s) if required for the position.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
