Enterprise Security Specialist

Job DescriptionThis role offers the opportunity to join our Infrastructure team as a seasoned Cybersecurity Engineer. You will work closely with our team to ensure security across multiple systems and web applications, protecting network boundaries and preventing attacks.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer an estimated annual salary range of $170,000 - $200,000, plus an annual incentive bonus and equity plans. Additionally, we provide top-of-market benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, unlimited paid time off, and 26 weeks of 100% paid parental leave.
Responsibilities- Implement security frameworks to ensure alignment with S&P Global standards
- Develop and update security plans, including project management and initiative planning
- Demonstrate excellent emergency response skills, including surveillance and incident response
- Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities through static and dynamic assessments
- Prioritize training in de-escalation techniques to effectively manage conflicts
- Lead and work alongside a team of 2-5 security engineers, prioritizing the security backlog
- Maintain a GenAI security posture, overseeing the AI Accelerator Security
- Conduct risk assessments and management, spotting risky behaviors and configurations
- Audit policies and controls continuously, driving forward the cybersecurity process
- Build a vulnerability management program, ensuring continuous checks and remediation steps
- Five or more years of experience as a security engineer
- Experience securing modern web applications and distributed data infrastructure in a cross-team setting
- Strong understanding of cryptography and current best practices
- Experience with penetration testing tools, techniques, and methodologies
- Three or more years of experience writing code in Python, JavaScript, Java, or Go
- Prior experience working with enterprise security technologies
