Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomy Specialist to join our team at Mindlance. As a Phlebotomy Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing. This is a critical role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collections.
  • Prepare blood samples for lab testing by labeling and packaging them correctly.
  • Ensure that all samples are handled and stored properly to maintain their integrity.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff to ensure that samples are processed correctly.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Minimum two years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience preferred.
