Job Title: Truck Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Truck Technician to join our team at Mongoose Trucking. As a Truck Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of trucks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with trucks and trailers
  • Work with diagnostic software to identify and resolve issues
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on service trucks, including inspection, tire rotation, and oil changes
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of shop equipment and tools
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and efficiency

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of experience in a truck repair or maintenance environment
  • Diagnostic and software experience
  • Certification of Mechanic school or minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Knowledge of Peterbilt tractors and tanker trailers
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test/random drug test
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check
