About the Role

Capital One is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Node.js) to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Agile teams to design and develop robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences for millions of Americans.
  • Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, and participating in internal and external technology communities.
  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Utilize programming languages like JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, SQL, Python, and Go, as well as Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration services, and AWS tools and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: JavaScript, Java, TypeScript, SQL, Python, or Go.
  • 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service.
  • 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks.
  • 2+ years of experience in Agile practices.
