Job Title: Junior Mechanic

GeorgiaGov is looking for a dedicated Junior Mechanic to support our operations. This role is ideal for individuals who have a strong interest in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of engines, vehicles, and various motorized machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of experienced staff to perform maintenance tasks, identify problems, and execute repairs on both gasoline and diesel engines, vehicles, and other machinery.
  • Carry out assessments, inspections, and tests to confirm the safe and effective functioning of vehicles and equipment after maintenance work.
  • Present completed tasks to supervisors or senior mechanics for evaluation and approval.

Qualifications:

  • An Associate's, Vocational, or Technical degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution,
  • Alternatively, a minimum of one year of practical experience in the automotive field.
  • Note that specific certifications may be necessary for certain roles.
