Emergency Medical Services Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Paramedic - Ambulance to join our growing healthcare organization. As a key member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for providing critical care and support to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving as a vital member of a prehospital multidisciplinary team, supervising and promoting cohesive patient care management.
- Providing thorough assessments and treatments for medical, trauma, and environmental emergencies, prioritizing the well-being and safety of patients.
- Responding promptly and efficiently to emergency and non-emergency calls, delivering immediate care and support to those in need.
- Safely operating emergency vehicles in high-stress situations, navigating various responses and road conditions.
- Collaborating with hospital staff and other emergency services to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Medical Services.
- High school graduate or equivalent required; Associate of Applied Science degree or higher preferred.
- Successful completion of a Paramedic course or equivalent; National certification (NREMT) preferred.
- Licensure: State of Montana Paramedic or Registered Nurse with recent Certificate of Equivalency or Physician Assistant licensure required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory; PALS, NRP PHTLS, and EVOC certifications required within one year; Critical Care Transport endorsement within 18 months.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
