We are seeking a skilled Proposals Coordinator to join our Business Development Unit. This role involves leading the proposal development process and overseeing all aspects of proposal management related to federal training and capacity building initiatives. The ideal candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality proposals that align with client expectations and deadlines, collaborating closely with both the technical and business development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete proposal development lifecycle, including creating outlines, schedules, and compliance matrices.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Unit to formulate strategies and key themes for each proposal.
- Facilitate proposal kick-off meetings and coordinate internal discussions with stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough research to enhance proposals and assist in drafting background and technical sections.
- Work alongside subject matter experts and technical writers to produce compelling and compliant proposal content.
- Identify and recruit essential personnel for proposal efforts.
- Review and refine proposal sections for clarity, consistency, and adherence to RFP requirements.
- Lead the final production of technical documents.
- Ensure timely delivery of proposals that meet established quality standards.
- Maintain the proposal repository and keep information current.
- Contribute to process enhancements and best practices in proposal development.
- Support additional business development initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience managing federal contract proposals exceeding $10 million, ideally in professional training, capacity building, and technical assistance.
- Demonstrated success in proposal management, including writing and securing proposals for federal agencies.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. federal procurement landscape.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Adobe; familiarity with project management software is advantageous.
- Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with strong copyediting abilities.
