We are seeking a highly skilled RF communications modeling and simulation expert to join our team at Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA). As a Principal Scientist – RF Communications Modeling and Simulation, you will play a crucial role in executing and developing research programs and capabilities in RF communications modeling and simulation.
Key Responsibilities- Execute current research and develop new research programs and capabilities in RF communications modeling and simulation.
- Provide high-level leadership and strategic planning for research initiatives.
- Manage proposals and oversee technical execution, leadership, and business management on projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and growth.
- Eligibility to apply for and hold a US security clearance.
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field with 12-15 years of work experience, or MS with 10-13 years of work experience.
- Experience in RF communications modeling and simulation, with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills.
- Previous technical leadership experience, including project and/or management experience.
- Experience writing white papers and responding to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Ability and desire to expand RF modeling and simulation knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
- Prior experience maturing R&D efforts into successful programs.
- Existing DoD security clearance.
