Your Responsibilities:

The Planning & Insights department collaborates with the Digital, Data, and Operations divisions to provide strategic and operational financial planning, monthly forecasting, portfolio management, and insightful management reporting.

We are in search of a dynamic individual with a robust technical and financial management background to drive our financial performance management vision, specifically focusing on a Technology Business Management solution that equips leaders with the knowledge to oversee and communicate the cost, quality, and value of IT Products and Services.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique combination of leadership, technical, and business insight, along with a broad perspective and a commitment to achieving results.

This role will involve close collaboration with IT and Finance professionals across all organizational levels.


Key Qualifications:
  • Build and maintain a network of relationships both internally and externally.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs and utilize consensus-building techniques to gain support.
  • Navigate ambiguous environments with ease.
  • Confirm and reconfirm assumptions effectively.
  • Identify root causes of issues related to data, processes, and procedures.
  • Harmonize diverse viewpoints and apply knowledge to propose optimal solutions.
  • Oversee key components of the Apptio platform, driving continuous improvement while demonstrating expertise in this area.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading a Kanban team of Apptio Technical Functional Analysts through a continuous iterative development and delivery lifecycle while overseeing their training and growth.
  • Driving the design, development, and implementation of the Technology Business Management (TBM) model through various modules within the Apptio platform.
  • Managing product management/backlog prioritization and monthly data refresh processes while supporting the analysis of strategic initiatives.
  • Ensuring thorough testing and validation of developed solutions in accordance with the technology development lifecycle.
  • Assisting in the investigation and resolution of output variances, data discrepancies, and technical challenges within the Apptio platform.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical issues.
  • Providing timely and effective solutions to ensure that business partners' deliverable timelines are met.
  • Continuously assessing and optimizing existing solutions within the Apptio platform.
  • Proactively managing the expectations of the leadership team and key stakeholders.
  • Preparing presentations for Senior/Executive leadership.
  • Recognizing and solving complex business challenges through financial and business process analyses.
  • Guided by policies, procedures, and business plans, making decisions with input from organizational leadership.
  • Providing technical financial education and guidance to employees and internal customers.

The salary range for this role is based on national data, with actual pay reflecting skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.


Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of directly related experience in technology business management, including:
  • 3+ years of leadership experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with ApptioOne software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of financial planning experience within Technology organizations.
  • Knowledge and application of relational database concepts.
  • Experience with scripting and report building.
  • Exposure to SAFe/Agile methodologies.
  • Understanding of IT services and best practices related to financial management processes, including budgeting, cost allocations, capital and operating expense management, program portfolio management, and application/infrastructure support.
