Responsibilities:
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors using industrial equipment.
- Dust and wash walls, ceilings, and light fixtures.
- Wash blinds and move furniture and equipment as needed.
- Empty trash cans and clean kitchen, breakroom, office, bathroom, and locker areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school degree preferred.
- Previous janitorial experience preferred but not required.
Physical Demands:
- Bend and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Lift up to 70 pounds with assistance occasionally.
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Be able to speak and hear for safety and productivity.
- Ability to lift overhead.
- Ability to work overtime due to demand.
- Have acceptable and/or correctable vision.
- Work in an atmosphere ranging from +70 to 0 degrees F with a moderate noise level.
- Personal interaction and communication required.
- Good arithmetic and reading skills.
- Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction, and company policies.
- A self-starter who can work independently and coordinate with others.
