Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Indus Hospitality Group. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms, ensuring a pleasant and professional experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized supply cart to ensure efficient cleaning operations.
  • Sort, count, fold, mark, or carry linens to meet guest room linen needs.
  • Change linen and make beds to ensure a clean and comfortable guest room environment.
  • Sweep, scrub, and mop floors to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to ensure a clean and polished appearance.
  • Wash walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills to maintain a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Clean and sanitize bathrooms to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Vacuum carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies to maintain a clean and polished appearance.
  • Move furniture, hang and remove drapes, and roll carpets as needed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
  • Replenish guest room supplies, including bathroom amenities and writing supplies, to ensure a pleasant and professional experience for our guests.
  • Ensure beds are made to standard with fresh clean linens and bath terry is clean and stain-free.
  • Inspect room for maintenance needs and check all fixtures, equipment, and room conditions for proper operation, settings, and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Up to one month related experience or training; Less than high school education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
  • Ability to communicate with others in a clear and professional manner.
  • Ability to add and subtract numbers up to 100.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to chemicals, dust, and odors, fumes or particles. The associate works in an environment open to the general public. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
