Job Description

As a Retail Personal Banker Associate II, you will be responsible for selling a full range of banking products and services to meet existing and prospective customers' needs while providing specialized care and service. You will utilize the prescribed tools and interact with staff for referral activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use the consultative sales process to build strong relationships with customers and provide them with tailored financial solutions.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend suitable options.
  • Utilize approved marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and schedule appointments for periodic financial reviews.
  • Cross-sell to existing customers and engage in outside sales activities as directed.
  • Establish close working relationships with assigned Business Partners and refer customers when necessary.
  • Meet/exceed customer experience and individual/team production goals while enhancing year-over-year revenue growth.

Requirements

  • A college degree or equivalent work experience providing transferable skills.
  • Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a comfort level with sales activities designed to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing ones.
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis.
  • Professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in terms of appearance and verbal/written communication.
