Job Overview

The Senior Fixed Equipment Reliability Engineer plays a vital role in driving mechanical asset availability for production units, ensuring design reliability and maintainability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of maintenance and reliability strategies to achieve 100% asset availability.
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis, perform repair vs. replacement analysis, and identify cost improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations and maintenance personnel to coordinate proactive fixes from condition monitoring findings.
  • Develop and document equipment maintenance procedures, job plans, and repair plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of post-graduate experience in rotating and fixed equipment troubleshooting and specification.
  • Prior experience in the chemical, plastics, or refining industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with modeling tools such as Fathom, Compress, Aspen, or Solidworks.
