About the Role
- Design and develop mechanical architectures for robotic platforms, including manipulators and humanoid systems.
- Create detailed documentation for designs, including block diagrams and test plans.
- Collaborate with external manufacturing teams to ensure efficient design and production processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure product reliability and performance.
- Evaluate and select components and materials to meet project requirements.
- Conduct simulations and performance analyses to optimize system functionality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and releasing products to market in the field of autonomy and robotics.
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and first principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (OnShape, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).
- Experience designing and manufacturing complex structures using advanced materials.
- Familiarity with tolerance stack-ups and GD&T.
