About the Role:

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer I to join our team. As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will play a critical role in solving complex problems and contributing to the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation of formwork/framework layout drawings in Autodesk Revit.
  • Analyze and design formwork to ensure efficient utilization of Ceco's physical resources.
  • Support the project team in establishing the sequential steps involved in all processes with the scope of the project, and adapt schedules and work tasks accordingly.
  • Work closely with the project team monitoring the safety, cost, and scheduling of construction projects.
  • Optimize formwork designs and collaborate with material coordinators to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships to enhance the company's ability to procure projects.
  • Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Construction, or Architectural Engineering.
  • No experience necessary, but construction experience is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to read and understand drawings.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
