At AdventHealth Florida, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as an Assistant Nurse Manager for our Med Surg department. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule.
About the Role:- Assist the Nurse Manager in planning, organizing, and directing the activities of the Med Surg department.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of one-year hospital acute care RN nursing experience and one-year prior leadership experience.
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS.
- Current valid Florida State Board of Nursing Registered Professional Nurse license.
