Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Echo Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing and developing expertise in a range of highly specialized cardiac ultrasound investigations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform accurate and reproducible measurements and quantification in transthoracic echocardiograms, dobutamine/exercise stress echocardiograms, and assist with Trans esophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Communicate effectively with fellow staff members, patients, and physicians to ensure seamless patient care
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand different age populations and cultural differences to effectively assess and meet those patient-specific needs
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Vocational School Graduate or Associate Degree in Ultrasound Technology
