Job Summary

This position supports the mission of The Medical Center of Aurora and Centennial Medical Plaza by optimizing the quality of life of all those served. The Registered Nurse NICU III PRN will oversee and direct the care of newborns, ensuring well-coordinated patient care and collaborating with all disciplines to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Lead the collaboration of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Oversee and direct the care of assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Neonate Resuscitate within the first 6 months of hire.
  • Registered Nurse, current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
  • Bachelors Degree, Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
