About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a clean and safe environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures.
  • Set up and operate various types of equipment used during surgical procedures.
  • Transport patients and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of aseptic technique and follow infection control protocols.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
