About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist to join our team in Portland, Maine.

This is a 13-week contract position with 12-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.

The successful candidate will provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team and support the performance of various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department, ensuring safe, competent, and quality care for patients.
  • Assist cardiologists during procedures by operating ancillary equipment and anticipating needs.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Deliver timely, compassionate, and quality patient care while promoting a safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Candidate must have current licensure in good standing and relevant certifications/credentials.
  • Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
