Job Description
As a Preventive Maintenance Professional at MODERN DISPOSAL SERVICES, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure our fleet of vehicles and equipment are safe and efficient to operate.
About the Role
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, using troubleshooting techniques and technical manuals as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for maintenance and repair
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
