About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team at Little River Family Dental. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and comfortable experience throughout their dental journey.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of patient health histories to provide quality care.
  • Take and process x-rays and other diagnostic assessments using state-of-the-art technology.
  • Provide superior chairside assistance to supported dentists during various procedures, adhering to the state dental practice act.
  • Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping, ensuring accurate and efficient management of patient information.
  • Prepare treatment rooms with strict adherence to safety protocols and follow OSHA & CDC recommendations.
  • Manage supply and inventory levels, placing and expediting orders as needed to maintain a well-stocked and efficient environment.
  • Partner with providers and team members to implement Heartland Dental systems and maximize office workflow.

We are located on Highway 92 in Woodstock and are seeking a motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing and hard-working team.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environment.
  • If required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
