Psychiatry Leadership Role in Award-Winning Saratoga Springs, NY

Saratoga Hospital seeks a board-certified psychiatrist for a full-time position as Medical Director of our expanding Behavioral Health Service in Saratoga Springs, New York.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership for the hospital's 16-bed adult inpatient unit and consultation-liaison program.
- Approximately 75% clinical and 25% administrative, with a focus on consultation liaison service and support for our full-time inpatient Psychiatrist with an APP.
- Participate in a reasonable inpatient psychiatry call schedule.
- Grow the current behavioral health service line in support of primary care physicians and expand the collaborative care model.
- Working knowledge of regulations and ability to foster successful relationships with the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and The Office for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).
- Experience with reimbursement from third-party payors is essential.
- Base salary starts at $330 - $350k, commensurate with experience.
