Job Title: Medical Director for Neurological Disease Development

We are seeking a seasoned Medical Director for Neurological Disease Development to join our team at argenx. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in driving the clinical development of our assets targeting Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP).

\r

The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurology and clinical development, with a proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality clinical programs. You will be responsible for providing strategic input on Target Product Profiles, Clinical Development Plans, and regulatory documents, while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

About the Role:

  • Provide medical leadership and expertise to support the development of our CIDP assets, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.\
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including commercial teams, to ensure that medical vision, risks, issues, and results are aligned with business objectives.\
  • Develop and execute comprehensive clinical development plans, including study designs, protocols, and regulatory submissions.\
  • Foster relationships with global Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to stay abreast of the latest scientific developments and advances in CIDP treatment.\
  • Ensure compliance with relevant SOPs and GCP regulations throughout all clinical development activities.\
  • Cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration within the team, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.\
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the competitive landscape, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in CIDP research.\
  • Liaise with external partners, including CROs, vendors, and consultants, to ensure seamless execution of clinical trials.\
  • Oversee the management of clinical trial data, including statistical analysis, reporting, and publication.\
  • Participate in due diligence activities, providing medical expertise to inform business decisions.\
  • Represent argenx at industry conferences, presenting research findings and thought leadership in CIDP.\\/ul"]/p>\r

About the Ideal Candidate:

  • Possesses a medical degree (MD) or equivalent, with specialization in neurology or a related field.\
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with a focus on clinical development and medical affairs.\
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and developing high-quality clinical programs.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.\
