Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Adult Intensive Services program at Klamath Basin Behavioral Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional care to clients, ensuring compliance with our policies, best nursing practices, and relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Client Support: Assist psychiatric providers and clinical therapists with various tasks, including note transcription, appointment scheduling, and communication with clients and community partners.
- Patient Assessment: Document vital signs, weight, height, and medication side effects; assess patient responses to treatments.
- Patient Education: Provide comprehensive education to clients and their families regarding medications and care plans.
- Care Coordination: Liaise with primary care providers, medical specialists, and other services to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.
- Medication Management: Maintain medication samples and collaborate with pharmaceutical representatives to ensure adequate supplies.
- Basic Nursing Care: Provide nursing assessments and care for minor illnesses or injuries, supporting overall health and recovery.
- Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in professional nursing, preferably in a mental health or intensive care setting.
