We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Radiation Therapist Supervisor to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our radiation therapy department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Takes directives and new treatment prescriptions from physicians and assigns cases to therapists with respect to treatment unit and planned methods of treatment.
- Regularly reviews treatment plan and patient progress with therapists to ensure conformance with prescribed treatment.
- Conducts Case Review Sessions with physicians on a routine basis.
- Participates in the orientation of residents and new therapists, teaching them work techniques and new procedures.
- Graduation from an approved school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
- A.R.R.T. registration required.
- Two (2) to three (3) years' experience as a radiation therapy technologist, including some leadership and instructional experience.
