Job Opportunity

We are seeking a PRN Consultant Dietitian in the West Lafayette, IN area to join our team. As a consultant for Dietary Solutions, you will be an integral part of the facility care teams, promoting nutritional health and quality of life while maintaining regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with residents and facility staff to build positive relationships and support resident goals
  • Utilize strong interpersonal, communication, listening, planning, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Manage time effectively and maintain organization
  • Stay up-to-date with state, federal, and county regulations related to nutrition and food service
  • Apply sound clinical nutrition skills, including nutrition assessment, intervention, and monitoring
  • Understand MDS section K, care planning, and Patient-Driven Payment Model (PDPM)
  • Work independently to satisfy client and resident needs within the scope of practice
Requirements
  • Current registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • Current licensed dietitian and/or certified dietitian through the state board of dietetics or medical board as applicable to practice area
