Job Summary:

The Residential Counselor will provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges in a residential setting. This role requires a strong understanding of human services principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support and care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and behavioral support.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet the unique needs and goals of each resident.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident progress and services provided.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in human services or related field preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Work Schedule:

Friday 3pm-11pm, Saturday 3pm-8pm
