Key Responsibilities- Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on resort equipment, including air conditioning systems, boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems.
- Repair and Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, plumbing issues, and other facility-related problems.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on resort facilities to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar capacity is required. At least one year of progressive experience in a resort or related field is preferred.
- Skills: Must be able to read blueprints and wiring diagrams, understand electrical and plumbing systems, and possess basic hand tool skills.
- Physical Demands: Heavy work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 20 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
- Environmental Conditions: Must be able to work in an outdoor environment with varying temperatures, including temperatures above 100° F.
- Other: Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, or reach as needed, and use hand tools.
