Job Title: Area AV Manager

Join our team as an Area AV Manager at Twin Tier Hospitality, where you will be responsible for managing the Audio Visual Banquet service operations to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, and compliance with corporate policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze Banquet Event Orders and communicate effectively with customers, managers, and associates to ensure that all room set-ups, AV equipment, supplies, and staffing meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Review all schedules, equipment, supplies, and organize workflow to ensure a quality event to customers on a daily basis.
  • Monitor and control Banquet budget, including labor costs, beverage costs, supplies, and equipment, and coordinate with event budgets to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while providing quality guest service.
  • Implement company programs and resolve daily operational problems through consistent monitoring of AV Banquet operations to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations, LSOPs, and SOPs, and to ensure an optimal level of service, quality, and hospitality.
  • Supervise Human Resources in the AV Banquet area to retain and motivate associates, hire, train, develop, empower, coach, and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication vehicles, recommend discipline and termination as appropriate.
Requirements:
  • One to two years of post-high school education.
  • Two to three years of experience in a related position with Twin Tier Hospitality or other organizations.
  • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the catering, food, and beverage, and hospitality professions.
  • Ability to investigate and analyze current activities and/or information involving readily available data and indicating logical conclusions and recommendations.
  • Good oral communication skills, with a second language preferred.
Working Conditions:

The Area AV Manager will work in a fast-paced environment, with minimal travel required. The position will require occasional lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as bending, kneeling, and mobility to service clients on short notice. The work environment will be primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work.
