Captives Marketing Support Specialist

This position serves as a dual support role, primarily reporting to the marketing director of the Captives division, while also encompassing a limited range of executive assistant duties as designated by management. The role demands exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to engage effectively with individuals both within and outside the organization.
Key Responsibilities within the Captive Unit include:
- Assisting in the preparation and submission of timely and precise market proposals for new and renewal captive business, which involves:
- Organizing and maintaining client submission records across office share drives, agency management systems (Epic), and other relevant third-party software, adhering to agency standards as outlined by the marketing team.
- Acting as a liaison between account managers and the marketing director to ensure accurate data is gathered for captive supplemental applications.
- Engaging with carriers, underwriters, or potential new business prospects (as directed by the marketing director) to gather and relay necessary data for informed decision-making in marketing.
- Evaluating contractual insurance requirements and client needs in collaboration with the agency.
- Assisting in the procurement of loss runs, claims analysis, and other relevant items pertaining to captive new and renewal business.
- Helping to prepare annual loss summaries with updated loss runs for captive new and renewal business.
- Participating in office and client meetings as required.
- Supporting additional marketing tasks as assigned.
- Coordinating and scheduling business travel arrangements for the Agency Managing Director/Producer.
- Completing, submitting, and maintaining business expense reports along with supporting documentation for the Agency Managing Director/Producer.
- Carrying out other administrative tasks as assigned or requested.
- A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of experience with a comprehensive understanding of various aspects of property and casualty insurance.
- Must possess the appropriate state insurance license.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Prior experience with an agency management system; familiarity with Epic is advantageous.
