Primary Care Physician Assistant

About the Position:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and caring Physician Assistant to join our team as a Hospitalist. In this role, you will work closely with a team of experienced physicians and PAs to provide primary medical care to patients recovering from acute illnesses and managing chronic conditions. Responsibilities:
• Provide primary medical care to patients
• Collaborate with experienced physicians and PAs in a collegial environment
• Maintain 50 CME's over two years
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree and graduate of an approved Physician Assistant (PA) school
• CT State PA license, DEA/State of CT controlled substance
• Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• ACLS & BLS certification
• Prior PA Hospitalist experience preferred but new grads with inpatient Internal Medicine experience encouraged to apply
