About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care Float Pool in the Danbury, CT area. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our physicians and physician assistants.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing with at least 3 years of experience. You will be responsible for preparing patients for medical exams, obtaining vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care. Additionally, you will collect and prepare patient specimens as directed by the physician or physician assistant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare materials, supplies, equipment, and patients for medical exams
  • Obtain patients' history and basic medical data, such as vital signs, temperature, height, and weight
  • Provide direct patient care, including ear irrigation, vaccinations, and medications
  • Collect, prepare, and analyze patient specimens as directed by the physician or physician assistant
  • Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • RN license in the state of Connecticut
  • At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of insurance contracts and requirements

Compensation

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $32.64-$65.01 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
