Job Summary:We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to perform daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning floors, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, adhering to our facility's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning floors, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Closely follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, including resident rooms and public spaces.
- Clean public spaces, including corridors, stairwells, elevators, waiting rooms, and lobby.
- Operate housekeeping equipment and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Be knowledgeable of Federal, State, and facility's rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Attend in-service educational programs and follow defined safety codes.
- Understand facility's fire and disaster plans and follow established procedures during drills and actual emergencies.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting is desired.
- General knowledge of cleaning and infection prevention.
This position requires lifting up to forty pounds (40lbs). The successful candidate will work throughout the facility, including resident rooms, and will be required to bend, lift, sit, stand, and move frequently throughout the shift.
