Material Handling Controls Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Material Handling Controls Specialist. In this role, you will assist with the inspection, integration, and testing of various Material Handling Controls implementations that form the backbone of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist project teams with electrical drawings, installation, inspection, testing, and issue tracking.
- Support corporate and division MHE enhancement projects with evaluations, cost-saving initiatives, implementation plans, testing, documentation, delivery, deployment, and project closeout.
- Provide training and support for automated Material Handling installations.
- Keep management updated with accurate project and task information.
- Participate in requirements, design, documentation, and evaluations.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program at an accredited institution.
- Junior or senior status.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- No sponsorship required to work in the US.
- Electrical background with experience in 480 VAC, 120 VAC, and 24 VDC.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of Siemens or Allen Bradley PLC Logic, syntax, system interfaces, and networking a plus.
- Knowledge of SICK, DataLogix, or Cognex Scanners a plus.
