Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex technical tasks utilizing radiopharmaceuticals to assist with the detection of anatomical abnormalities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of specialized technical tasks, including the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and the operation of imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiopharmaceuticals, their applications, and potential side effects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in nuclear medicine technology and techniques.
- Provide exceptional patient care and education, ensuring that patients understand their diagnosis and treatment options.
- A.S. in Radiological Health Sciences or a related field.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists in the field of Nuclear Medicine or Radiography.
- Licensure by the State Department of Health.
- Modality certification required or obtained within 6 months of employment date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- One year of experience in nuclear medicine or a related field.
