Production Soil Sorter

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a Production Soil Sorter to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for sorting and processing laundry in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate press equipment to process laundry in a timely and efficient manner.
  
• Sort and classify laundry items according to established lot orders.
  
• Maintain a clean and organized production floor, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
  
• Shake, sort, and lay out items prior to pressing, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  
• Classify and lay out items for pressing, taking into account factors such as fabric type and garment style.
  
• Separate soil pick-up tickets and check for needed repairs on items.
  
• Lift and move heavy loads of laundry, up to 100 pounds, as needed.
  
• Assist colleagues in maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to safety procedures.
  

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
• Experience working with plant equipment and machinery highly desirable.
  

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, with regular exposure to wet and humid conditions. The noise level is usually loud.
