Role OverviewAs a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in our kitchen, preparing ingredients and supporting the cooking team to ensure every dish is prepared efficiently and to perfection. Your responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities- Preparing ingredients according to recipes and kitchen needs, including chopping, slicing, dicing, and cooking.
- Assisting with cooking and plating dishes as directed by the chef.
- Following food safety and sanitation practices, including proper storage and handling.
- Helping to manage inventory levels and assisting with receiving deliveries.
- Collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
- Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food prep techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work quickly and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
