Role Overview: As a Prep Cook, you’ll play a vital role in our kitchen, preparing ingredients and supporting the cooking team to ensure every dish is prepared efficiently and to perfection.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ingredient Prep: Chop, slice, dice, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and kitchen needs.
  • Cooking Support: Assist with cooking and plating dishes as directed by the chef.
  • Food Safety: Follow food safety and sanitation practices, including proper storage and handling.
  • Inventory: Help manage inventory levels and assist with receiving deliveries.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of food prep techniques and kitchen equipment. Ability to work quickly and follow instructions.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
  • Food Safety: Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Culinary training is a plus.

Working Conditions:
  • Daytime hours, typically 8:00am - 4:00pm, with occasional flexibility needed for school events.
