Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise Front of House Staff: Lead and motivate our front of house team to deliver exceptional service to our guests.
  • Assist Shift Manager: Collaborate with the shift manager to coach staff, resolve conflicts, and address guest relations issues.
  • Food Expeditor: Expedite food efficiently and timely from the kitchen during peak business hours.
  • Point of Sale System Management: Update the Point of Sale System throughout the shift as needed, including menu changes and 86'd items.
  • Team Player: Play an integral role in the training of new team members and contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Shift Management: Arrive on time for all scheduled shifts, classes, and meetings, and stay until shift needs are met.
  • End of Shift Tasks: Manage end of shift tasks, including tip sharing, cash counting, and ensuring all side work and other assigned work are completed.
  • Menu Knowledge: Speak knowledgeably about all menu items, including wines and specialty beverages.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with Front of House Supervisors/Managers, Back of House Line Cooks/Chefs on staffing, operations, and any other shift information.
  • Leadership: Inspire co-workers and staff to work effectively as a team and establish and maintain good communication and a positive working relationship with all Roadhouse staff.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 6 months of supervisory or manager experience (or equivalent lead position) in a restaurant setting.
  • Skills: Experience expediting food, comfortable using computers and Point of Sale Systems, and a passion for working the front of the house.
  • Personal Characteristics: Passionate about great food, great service, and great finance, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task effectively.
Physical Demands
  • Bending, Stooping, Walking, and Standing: Must be able to safely perform these physical demands for long periods at a time.
  • Weight Relocation: Must be able to safely relocate up to 50 lbs, with assistance as needed.
  • Tray Balancing: Must be able to balance and carry a tray with drinks and/or dishes.
  • Stair Climbing: Must be able to ascend/descend between basement and main floor.
Compensation

$18.00 per hour
