Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of Respect, Commitment, Teamwork, Integrity, Reliability, and Professionalism.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and owners to define project specifications.
  • Oversee construction processes, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure beneficial agreements.
  • Acquire necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Assess resource requirements (manpower, equipment, and materials) from inception to completion while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with on-site Superintendents to plan construction operations and schedule phases to meet deadlines.
  • Engage subcontractors for specialized trade requirements.
  • Monitor progress and implement necessary adjustments to achieve project goals.
  • Lead the overall project closeout process.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and report any issues.

Qualifications and Skills

  • At least 3 years of experience in commercial construction project management, particularly in restaurant construction.
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
  • Proficient in construction/project management software, including Sage 100 and Procore.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management capabilities are essential.
  • A collaborative team player with leadership qualities.
  • A degree in engineering, building science, or construction is advantageous.
  • Proficient PC skills, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook.
  • Solid knowledge of construction safety protocols and the ability to enforce safety plans.
