Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily business operations, including animal care, customer service, and staff management.
  • Ensure that all animals in our care receive humane and ethical treatment.
  • Manage and motivate a diverse workforce, providing training and mentoring to staff members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff members.
  • Responsible for resolving customer concerns in a timely and complete manner.
  • Assist the management team in achieving budgetary goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and staff members.
  • Review and update safety protocols, including the company's injury, illness, and prevention program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local veterinary offices, breeders, and rescues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of staff management experience.
  • Previous experience working with dogs or cats is preferred.
  • Ability to independently problem-solve and operate a business indefinitely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
Benefits:
  • $60,000 - $75,000 / annually (depending upon experience)
