Key Responsibilities- Assist in providing quality patient care in a patient-focused, technically appropriate, and cost-effective manner.
- Establish and maintain a sterile field, a safe patient care environment, and appropriate supplies/equipment as required for the operative procedure.
- Function as a cooperative healthcare team member in a critical care environment, treating patients with dignity and respect.
- Participate in the education and training of other team members, sharing knowledge and expertise in a supportive and educational manner.
- Contribute to the development of the practice team, participating in unit meetings, and providing positive suggestions for improvement of nursing services.
- High school graduate or GED completion of CST program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technician.
- Good communication skills and ability to independently perform scrub duties.
