Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room and maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Assist the surgical team in maintaining a safe and efficient environment, including handling instruments and equipment.
  • Transport patients and equipment as needed.
  • Assist with the turnover of rooms between procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the surgical team.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
