About the Role: Cannabis Security Officer

As a Cannabis Security Officer at Nectar Markets, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our dispensary, staff, and customers. You will work closely with our retail team to maintain a secure environment and enforce company policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor access to the dispensary, verifying identities and adhering to state regulations for cannabis businesses.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the dispensary premises and surrounding areas, ensuring the safety and security of all personnel and property.
  • Operate surveillance equipment, monitoring live feeds and recording activity as needed.
  • Respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies, taking appropriate action to protect individuals and assets.
  • Maintain detailed logs of all activities, including visitor entries, incidents, and security measures taken.
  • Collaborate with dispensary staff to enforce company policies and procedures related to security.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Valid PISGS Certification required.
  • 2+ years of experience in private or public security, law enforcement, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and collected in stressful situations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
